Never Forget

Pitch black, one can’t see
Stuck like an outcast
Dark veiled sea
Rewind back, back to the past
Time for a forecast
Let’s get passed

Pitch black with an eyestrain
Wouldn’t know HOW to explain
This feeling of being contained
Thoughts running lose and hard to maintain

Little better … Now comes the reign
Take out 1 or 2, now what remains?
Answers so plane
Fast forward now, try to regain

Nothings done in vein
Hope for the future, got to sustain
Best friend music, bringing out courage
Able to concentrate, with new found knowledge

Easily bruised heart, placed with a bandage
Lowered down defense, like a drawbridge
Can’t stop, looking to the distance
Scary yes, but doing it with guidance

Dimmed light, it was almost withered
Almost toned out, like a storm in a blizzard
Ups and downs… won’t always be the victor
But still deep inside, got that Vim and Vigor!

yea it's all me. i'm just giving it a shot really, so i don't really consider myself a writer. although it's fun.
